OK GOes to Sesame Street

When I was a kid, learning primary colors meant blobs of paint on a paper plate. As exciting as getting dirty was (is), youngsters today are learning primary colors in a much more interesting way.  Sesame Street has invited Chicago-based rock band, OK Go to teach Elmo & the gang a lesson in the basics of color theory.

Staying true to their offbeat virtual style, the band created an educational music video called Three Primary Colors using stop-motion animation. Putting away their treadmills and domino’s the guys dressed head to toe in solid colors in true OK Go fashion.

While the video is the most relevant item of business here for our age group, don’t be fooled, the OK Go color game has it’s own entertainment factor, equipped with finger guns and awkward dance moves.

Side note: Whoever has the casting job for Sesame Street has fallen into a strangely awesome role. The list of guest celebrities is ridiculous, one that I’d like to be a part of. How did I miss Mila Kunis?
